Seed workspace

packages/capabilities/src/seed-fixture.ts defines starter-lab and the demo identity used by the application and tests. It includes owners, admins, and members, plus API tokens, webhook endpoints, audit history, and notifications.

Visit /demo to browse the Reference Application without signing in. The preview shows synthetic data in the application pages. You can open forms and dialogs, but actions explain that they are unavailable in the preview. Sign in to exercise real actions against your local database.

pnpm run db:seed runs scripts/seed.ts to write the fixture into local D1 and add credential passwords. Re-running resets fixture records; do not use it on a database whose demo records you need to preserve.

The Seed adapters also supply an in-memory ready export, exp_seed_ready. The D1 seed omits that export row because there is no corresponding bucket artifact. D1-backed exports must be requested through the normal queue flow.

Keep the demo identity and membership equivalent in Seed and Live adapters. Browser navigation reads fixture membership, so identity drift can make a page work on reload but fail during navigation. See Quickstart for the sign-in credentials.
